Clever

On this day, Kayin really wanted the lights out. She has it figured out that if something is too high for her, her vanity stool has dual purpose! Needless to say, we had quite the conversation because the next thing she wanted was to unlock the door and look at the birds!

Just Me and My Babies

Kayin is ENTHRALLED and ENFATUATED with babies! On this recent snow day we had, she went into her room, retrieved her Dora pillow from her bed (which is quite amazing considering how many "pretty" pillows she has on her bed), asked me to lay a blanket down, got her two favorite babies and started reading with them. At one point, I heard her say, "Wet's hide...huwwy, huwwy!!" and covered her and her babies up and laughed hysterically.

Daddy's Creation

Justin thought it would be cute to "dress-up" Kayin!! Obviously my idea of dressing up is a little bit different than his. If you can't tell, it's a Dora Pull-Up on the outside of her pajamas.

As if one isn't enough

We are trying to to hide any evidence of a binky around the house. Just when we do, Kayin finds not one, but TWO!!!

No new pix yet, but NEW COMPUTER

Okay. So as I type this update, I am sitting down looking at our new DELL 19 inch computer....and LOVE IT!!! With our old computer going ka-put, we had to get a new one in order to post pictures as well as work on school work at home.

I am sure tomorrow night will be a round of new pictures of Kayin as well as a picture of the new computer....so, watch out and keep your eyes open!

Good News...Bad News

Good News: they may be able to retrieve our pictures from the computer
Bad News: the motherboard and a whole list of things went out on our computer

So.....money comes, money goes!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Because of our computer issues, this is a little belated, but it's the thought the counts, right? I wanted to do something special for Justin's birthday and bring in a little of Kayin's creativity. A family at school owns a ceramic shop and I decided to have her paint Daddy's birthday present. To see Justin's smile on his face when he opened up her "creation" was priceless! I think she gets an A+ for her plate!

Do you need a tissue?

As we all know, Kayin has become quite the independent little girl..wait a minute...I mean, she always has been. Anyway, she has found the stock of Kleenex under our tv cabinet and has been wanting to blow her nose. She does a full blown "blow" into the Kleenex, will say "Ewww, icky" and throw the kleenex away. Apparently today, she thought Harper needed a kleenex!

Snow Day

With the help of Nana, we are able to do some uploading of pictures tonight using her computer!!

With Friday being a snow day for LPS, Kayin and I got some much needed time together. We had a tea party, painted her nails, and experimented with hair styles. Saturday we were able to spend some time out in the snow and boy did she love it!! She wailed when we had to come in...I am sure our neighbors were wondering what the heck was going on!

It's Been Awhile

I know, I know!! I am getting crap from everyone about not posting. However, there is a good reason!! Our computer is on the fritz and we aren't sure what is going on. Due to some other priorities, getting the computer fixed is not on the very top of the list. I am going to talk with our "techy" tomorrow at work to find out if I can import pictures. So, those of you who like the pictures, try and be patient!! I know it's hard....especially knowing that we just got Valentine's Day pictures done and she did ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

A little update on Kayin's world: She is now running full speed ahead and when she has something she knows she isn't supposed to have, she takes off and hides somewhere. Speaking of hiding, whenever Justin or I come home, she always says "I hide, I hide, HURRY!!" Too cute for words. She is starting to sing portions of the ABC's and has "h,i,j,k,l,m,n,o,p" down pretty good. If you sing part of it and stop, she will finish it. The most amazing thing however is this....counting to 10!!! Of course, she likes to point at objects as she does it, but whatever works!!

She changes every minute that we turn around!!
