Special Times with Nana and Grandma

One of our family favorites--MONKEY BREAD!!! Kayin adores spending time with Nana in the kitchen and what better way than COOKING??!! I think she will be able to make this on her own for Christmas this year!! She loves to throw it in the brown sugar and then toss the dough in the pan!!
There is nothing better than enjoying a great book on and enclosed patio during a vacation. Grandma picked up a new "lift and find" flap book for Kayin and she if we couldn't find her anywhere, she was out reading this story!!

Mmmm...Monkey Bread...sounds tasty! I am just now allowing Iris to help me cook (have I mentioned I tend to be a little OCD about messes? One of my goals is to be a little less crazed, hence the helping), and she really likes it. Monkey bread would be a fun thing to try. You might have to send the recipe this way!:)

I can't believe how long Kayin's hair is getting! How is it that they suddenly become little girls once they turn two??

Meghan, the recipe is super simple and she loves doing it. I will admit I am a little OCD as well about messes but this one is on the top 10 of easy and mess-free!! I know--I can't believe how she has changed over the summer! We had a conversation about weddings and rings today...for about 20 minutes! She asked when she was going to get to marry her daddy and get a ring from him!!! TOO CUTE!!!
